8:00 am - 10am Thursday 27th  April 2017, Remedy Geotechnics and Environmental Scientifics Group (ESG) will partner up for April’s breakfast meeting.

The meeting will consist of a short presentation by Dr. Derek Egan from Remedy Geotechnics Ltd on “Managing Your Ground Risk” and a presentation from Phil Ball of ESG on “What Happens After You Send off Your Soil Sample”.  You will also be shown around the ESG premises and have an opportunity to view (hopefully) ground investigation rigs that will be in the yard at the time.

Remedy Geotechnics are Geotechnical Consultants and are experts in understanding that the ground remains one of the biggest risks to all construction projects, large or small.  Why is this?

Dr. Derek Egan has 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and an UK accredited Ground Engineering Advisor with particular expertise in the fields of piling, ground improvement, geotechnical design and construction.

Environmental Scientifics Group is now the biggest Ground Investigation provider delivering seven million tests a year to more than 5,000 clients, ESG offers testing, inspection and compliance services.

Phil Ball is Managing Director of the Geotechnical Division at ESG.

Phil is a recognised expert in his field through professional bodies and involvement in industry stewardship, as well as having a wide international experience.
